Please describe the interview process and assessments.
Had to do a hacker rank. Had an initial phone interview with someone overseas. Then had a group interview where we had to work in a group and produce a solution. Then had a one-on-one interview with an MD
Graduate, Melbourne
Online assessments followed by an assessment day with a one on one interview.
Graduate, Melbourne
Interview process was very straightforward. An online application, phone interview, video interview and a coding challenge. The coding challenge was did not determine employment but would help in what area you would be placed if you were hired.
Graduate, Adelaide
Online application, HR phone screening, group assessment & interview
Graduate, Melbourne
First step is a phone interview, then you go into a video interview with a case study challenge.
Graduate, Adelaide
The interview process was by far the most enjoyable I have been a part of. There were four main parts. Firstly, you had the initial touch base with your recruiter - a casual 15-minute conversation where you got familiar with the role and explained why you thought you'd like to work at Accenture. Secondly, you had an assessment center which was done online in a collaborative setting. Third was an interview with a senior manager which was also very relaxed - maybe a few behavioral questions here and there but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, you received an offer!
Graduate, Melbourne
The interviews got increasingly more intense. With the first interview being a relaxed conversation and the last interview being a bit of pressure to evaluate performance. Nothing overly difficult though.

One phone interview, one assessment day (mine was virtual due to covid), one interview with a senior manager. It was 9 months between application and job offer for me with very poor communication throughout that time.
Graduate, Sydney
The hiring process was succinct and constructed well. I enjoyed both the team and technical assessments and the hiring manager did very well to communicate all required information.
Graduate, Sydney
The hiring process had a group online interview stage where you did some group activities and then had a one on one interview.
Graduate, Melbourne
A long process- but overall found it useful.
Graduate, Canberra
The interview process involved as phone interview, group interview, psychometric testing and a one on one interview. It was a very long process but pretty standard for grad programs
Graduate, Canberra
It was rigorous but that was similar to all other Grad role applications I participated in. I really enjoyed my interview on the Assessment day. Rather than feeling like a formal Q&A, it was positioned as a conversation with a Senior Manager.
Graduate, Sydney
The interview experience felt very human, I felt as though I was in an environment where I could properly showcase my skills.
Graduate, Canberra
4 day bootcamp (optional but gives you more of a feel for the company) , hacker test, final interview. Could have done a group assessment instead of the bootcamp.
Graduate, Brisbane
Applied online, then had a 15 min phone interview, that was more about finding out which stream would best suit you. Then there was a long group interview over teams where you had to work on a case study in a group of 5 or 6 where a staff member watched on, at the end of this you presented to the larger group of interviewees and staff on your solution to the case study. After this there was a team's call with a member of staff which was a 1:1 interview.
Graduate, Adelaide
Lengthy but needed so they know the type of person you are
Graduate, Melbourne
The interview process and assessments were very intuitive and were conducted in a way to make everyone feel at ease.
Graduate, Melbourne
Can be very paperwork and application heavy. Systems do not always communicate with each other.
Graduate, Adelaide
it was great, updated every step of the way

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
Make sure you know Accenture's Australia and New Zealand strategy. Understand the different areas of the company and say what is interesting you. Come prepared with a question. Be yourself!
Graduate, Melbourne
Research, be open to trying new things & have a genuine interest in technology
Graduate, Melbourne
Research the company! Find out something they did - like a particular project and weave it into your interviews. E.g. if you love F1 you could have talked about how Industry X collaborated with the F1 to make a more immersive experience for viewers.
Graduate, Melbourne
Be yourself. Don't worry about knowing the 'what' but focus more on the 'how' you get there. Communication skills, teamwork, ability to ask questions, soft skills etc.
Graduate, Canberra
During the assessment day be collaborative and inclusive, throw big ideas out there and show your personality.
Graduate, Sydney
Take time to reflect over yourself during the interview/assessment process. Within the team challenge, ensure you are allowing others to speak and think of a proactive and co-operative way to find a solution. Although you are competing against others, being the loudest/talking the most doesn't make you stand out. Try including all team members in solution brainstorming and work together as a team.
Graduate, Sydney
Just be honest and express your willingness to learn new things.
Graduate, Melbourne
Be yourself and make sure you are positive! If applying for the Technology Stream, try your best (even if you aren't from a tech background)
Graduate, Canberra
Preparation is key but it's important to remember that you have to be 'human'. It sounds bizarre, but at the end of the day culture is a huge factor to a huge organisation like this. Building relationships is critical and is perhaps one of the biggest lessons I have learned. Also, understanding the company and their values as well as knowing about the types of clients that not only interest you but ones Accenture have worked with, will set you apart from other candidates.
Graduate, Sydney
Be confident speaking in groups, don't hold yourself back but it is important to be collaborative.
Graduate, Canberra
Show that you're serious about your career and the company
Graduate, Brisbane
One big tip I would give is to remember that they are not just assessing how much you know. A big part of the group interview was assessing how you work with a team in a stressful situation, so I would advise that people make sure they are listening to others and making people feel included when participating in the case study.
Graduate, Adelaide
Just be yourself and try and be confident, they hire on work adds so be yourself
Graduate, Melbourne
Ensure you research Accenture well, and find business case studies of Accenture's achievements and how they inspire you or align to your own career goals.
Graduate, Melbourne
Make sure you stand out on your CV - it's not all about technical skills Smile, be humble, ask questions
Graduate, Adelaide
work on your interpersonal skills. how you present yourself and don't oversell yourself. be the most genuine you possible, and don't be afraid of failing.
Graduate, Canberra
Research the company, know what you're after, be yourself, work as a team, use your best analytical and critical skills!
Graduate, Perth
Do your research! Know the company and their values and be able to talk to why you want the role, remember as a grad you are a large investment to train up so they need to be confident that you will stay and essentially provide a return on investment for them. Above everything else, don't be afraid to show the real you (quirks and all) the hiring process is people centric and so if our can connect and create rapport you will do well.
Graduate, Sydney
Research the company, prepare your motivations.
Graduate, Sydney
The one specific tip is TO BE themselves. Not to overprepare for personal interview, just reflect on their values and their life. Be positive, believe in themselves. I would also recommend to read and explore Accenture website, blogs, social media accounts and learn everything you can about Accenture.
