Your role

The Intern role is a generalist position that provides broad exposure to a variety of real estate sectors across different structures (asset and share deals, as well as operating platforms) and across the life-cycle of investments.

  • Participating in transactions from the buy-side perspective on behalf of proprietary real estate investment funds, including global opportunistic funds and regional core investment strategies
  • Conducting market research to analyse trends and assist with the formation of investment strategy
  • Creating financial models and investment committee materials to evaluate new opportunities
  • Supporting the execution of business plans for existing investments and recommending asset management initiatives to maximise value

About you

To succeed in this role:

  • You are a university student in your penultimate year of study with outstanding academics
  • Interest in the financial services industry and real estate investing
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and ability to analyse and interpret complex information quickly and accurately
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Results-driven and able to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Proven team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities
