What is a Graduate Pathways Program?

The Ramsay Graduate Pathways Program provides graduates with a two year program and the chance for a rewarding and long-term career with Australia’s most progressive and successful healthcare company. Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital provides support and guidance throughout the program with dedicated onsite preceptors, educators, managers and Staff development Coordinator. Our program provides ongoing education, including our growth series study days, continued formal and informal feedback along with competency-based assessments within a supportive environment. All these measures will ensure that at the completion of the program our graduates have the confidence of knowing their clinical and professional skills are not only meeting but exceeding industry standards.

Who can be a Graduate?

All our Graduates should display a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. They need to have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, graduates must display effective interpersonal skills and be able to build a rapport with a diverse range of people.

Graduates if successful in obtaining a program will be expected to:

  • Have completed (within the last 18 months) or are on track to complete your Diploma of Nursing degree by November/December 2024.
  • Demonstrate ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility for own practice
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Embrace the values of The Ramsay Way
