If you are studying Acoustics engineering or have a genuine interest in Acoustics, this is the perfect opportunity to work across an exciting and broad range of projects in our Buildings team!

Relevant studies include Audio Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics.

What does an Acoustics intern do in our Buildings team?

• Work primarily in the field of building and architectural acoustics
• Site visits and acoustic measurements in the field
• Noise and vibration surveys
• Acoustic modelling using software such as SoundPLAN & EASE
• Learn how acoustics play a role in buildings including collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams including building services, structure, transport and architecture
• Assist Senior and Project Technical Lead Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall client satisfaction
• Supporting the projects through assisting with planning, technical solutions, coordination and report writing
• Using your project management skills
• Working with a team of talented professionals on a variety of multidisciplinary projects
• Develop your capabilities & technical skills

What do you need?

• You will be working towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Audio and Acoustics, which may be through electives, research or discipline specific studies.
• You will ideally be in your penultimate year of study
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Ideally a licence
