Qualifications 

Do you have what we’re looking for? 

You need to: 

  • Be currently studying toward a degree or postgraduate degree (Honours or Masters) in disciplines relevant to Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Be a student from 2nd year through to penultimate year
  • Be team players with strong leadership potential.
  • Demonstrate drive, ambition and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
  • Actively participate in campus and community life.
  • Be willing and able to work in Central Queensland for the duration of the Vacation Program.

Job Description 

Anglo American’s Vacation Program is an opportunity for university students seeking to gain hands-on experience in their field of study to better prepare themselves for graduate employment.  

Our Australian team consists of over 4,000 talented mining professionals who will develop and support you whilst working on impactful, real-world activities at our open cut or underground operations. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll be in the best position to make the most of everything you’ve learned so far.
